Birther Lawyer Orly Taitz has Total Meldown on MSNBC

In response to the release of the Horrifically Fake version of the Obama's "Kenyan" Birth Certificate David Shuster and Tamaron Hall invited Orly Taitz on MSNBC to discuss the issue.

It wasn't long before logic, reason and decorum went flying out the window.

This is the current "Leader" of the Birther Movement? THIS!?

There's just so much wrong here it's hard to keep track. Her first false claim is that one of Obama relatives placed the birth Anouncment in the papers, based on a certificate that was created by simply filling out a form.

Except that some member of the Family didn't place the announcments, the State authorities in Hawaii did.

We have one more thing. We talked to reporter Will Hoover, who wrote a well-researched story for the Honolulu Advertiser on Nov. 9, 2008, about Obama's childhood years in the the Aloha State. It ran under the headline "Obama Slept Here."

In researching the story, he went to the microfilm archives and found the birth announcement for Obama. Actually, he found two of them, one in his Honululu Advertiser on Aug. 13 , 1961, and in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin the next day . They both said the same thing: "Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, 6085 Kalanianaole Highway, son, Aug. 4."

But here's the thing. Newspaper officials he checked with confirmed those notices came from the state Department of Health.

"That's not the kind of stuff a family member calls in and says, 'Hey, can you put this in?'" Hoover explained.

So that theory is Bunk

Then in the midst of spouting jibberish and whining that Tamaron and David keep asking her follow-up question in the midst of her projectile bile spew - she claims that Obama can't be a natural-born citizen unless Both of his parents were Americans.

Huh?!!

This is something she repeated on the Colbert Report.

Colbert: What would he have to do to satisfy you and those in your movement?
Taitz: In order to be president and commander in chief, he has to be a natural born citizen. So even if he were born in Hawaii, he cannot be the president and commander in chief specifically because of his multiple citizenship.
Colbert: So there’s absolutely nothing he can do to satisfy you?
Taitz: Unless he can bring his father out of the grave and make him a citizen post-mortem.

That's just flat-out Wrong.

Anyone born on U.S. soil is a U.S. Citizen and the one thing NONE of the Birthers have successfully provided any evidence that Stanley Ann Dunham ever left U.s. Soil in order to give birth to Barack Hussein Obama Jr on foreign soil.

That's because IT DIDN'T FRACKIN HAPPEN!

An examination of the photos reveal several inconsistencies in the alleged Kenyan birth certificate. They do not show the signatures of either the president's white, Kansas-born mother, Ann Dunham or of his black, Kenyan-born father, Barack Obama, Sr. Nor do they show any signatures by the registrar or by the attending physicians. Kenya was under British rule in 1961. Under British law, birth certificates are not legally valid without such signatures.

Other discrepancies in the alleged Kenyan birth certificate include listing Obama's mother under his father's surname -- when, in fact, Dunham legally kept her maiden name throughout her marriage. And it lists Dunham's age as 16, when, in fact, she was 18 when she gave birth to the future president.

The lower-left-hand corner of the alleged document refers to the "Republic of Kenya." But Kenya did not gain its independence from Britain until 1963 -- when the young Barack was two years old.

Most importantly, Dunham never set foot on Kenyan soil -- In fact, the president's mother did not leave the United States until 1967, when she moved to Indonesia to live with her second husband, Lolo Seotoro (She divorced the senior Obama in 1964 after she learned that he was married to another woman in Kenya).

Then there's the fact that she has the unmitigated GALL to accuse people who support Obama as being equivilent to Street Thugs who supported the Nazi's - while she's sitting in Tel Aviv. Simply Stunning.

This is what happens when the Overton Window pulls you completely over the cliff. Radical far out of the mainstream views have become the Republican Stock-in-trade, people like Ann Coulter have specifically and deliberatly cultivated the Super-Crazy as part of reasonable discourse, to them Liberals are "Traitors" and "God Less" - and they've managed to succeed far beyond even their own wildest dreams when people can so easily believe that the Health Care Plan will "Kill the Elderly". How much further is it to go to "Obama is an Illegal Alien" as G. Gordan Liddy did on Hardball? As has been shown by the recent DKOS poll (Birther Mostly Southern, Overwhelmingly Republican), this isn't just the "fringe" of the Republican Party - it's their Lunatic Base!

If this is the way the the Grand Ole' Party finally shuffles off the mortal coil to join the Bull Moose and Whig party, all I can say is that it frankly can't happen soon enough.
